The immediate danger has passed so the colorectal surgeon has signed the order to have Nathan removed from NICU. Since everyone is absolutely AMAZING at sick kids – they opted to have him transferred out and moved closer to home. This was all their doing – we didn't even have to ask!
As far as the tests have gone – nothing has been ruled out yet. May still be CF and may still need surgery.
Just a waiting game as far as those are concerned.
For more good news: he is eating on his own and passing stool on his own. This means that as long as this keeps up they will kick him out altogether.
Any further tests and/or surgeries will be performed on an out-patient basis. He already has an appointment for the Cystic Fibrosis testing later next month at Sick Kids.
